Don't wait until I'm gone to tell me how you feel
Tell me today while the time is real
I don't want to die for you to say all you have to say
why wait till I'm gone, just tell me today
I'm telling you now I love you very much
I want to show you every second of every day and such
Instead of missing me when I'm gone forever

If you know i'm hungry,
would you offer me something to eat?
Only if you care

If I was homeless,
would you offer me a place to sleep?
Only if you care

If you knew I was hurting inside,
would you let me share with you?
Only if you care

If you knew I was alone,
would you keep me company?
Only if you care

If you knew I was being abused,
would you do something to stop it?
Only if you care

If you knew I was poor,
would you offer me a plan to better my situation?
Only if you care

If I was sick,
would you take care of me?
Only if you care

If you saw me drowning,
would you try to save me?
Only if you care

All too often we see the signs of the people we say we love and care about suffering and crying out for help and yet some of us do nothing to try and help them from hurting themselves and others.

Sometimes there is nothing we can do because they have their minds made up, we try all that we can but to no avail.

No one truly aspire to self destruct, the want all the happiness that this life has to offer but the woes of their struggles in life have taken them down a dark alley to meet their doom and some don't even see it coming until it is too late.

Then when they feel it is too late , they dive in head first because of their shame, guilt, pain, suffering, uncontrollable urges, weakness, discomfort, embarrassment, and scary thoughts of letting people know Who, What, When, Where, and WHY???
