Ambreen

I'm 20 years old and in my final year at University studying Law but I've been singing since I could make vocal sounds and dancing since I could move!...I'm just your average broke student with big musical dreams. I'm genuinely into all types of music, from Stevie Wonder, Brandy, Musiq Soulchild to Paramore, The Script, Cee Lo, Kaiser Chiefs, Bruno Mars, One Republic, Kasabian. Old school, new school, love it all! I get inspired to write songs of random genres of music depending on the mood I'm in but my songs tend to be quite quirky. I also tend to dedicate time to writing songs when I should be typing up essays to meet looming deadlines. Striking that balance is harder than you think when music's on your mind all day, everyday! I love street dance/hip-hop. There was a point in my life where Michael Jackson's live performance of Billie Jean would come on TV and 5 year old Ambreen would attempt the moonwalk across the carpet looking somewhat like the butt-dance. Good times... :)
