Charlie Tippie raps good. Your favorite rapper’s least favorite rapper, Charlie commands a powerful use of words... Refusing to be compartmentalized, put in a box or labeled, Charlie makes music for himself with a loyalty to his listeners and the instrumentation. His stage presence is powerful, unique and unfettered. He rocked the side stage before Lil Wayne’s show in Long Island last August and starred in a national television commercial in 2010. The commercial was part of a $300 million campaign by the US Census to get people to fill out the form. Charlie was also featured in another shorter edit of the commercial, two radio spots and some digital applications of the commercial. His spot was broadcast on MTV, VH1, BET, CMT, A&E, TBS, NBC and during American Idol and March Madness. Charlie is working with a mess of different producers and has been getting press on a lot of blogs. He will release his new EP soon and can be seen live at numerous venues throughout new york monthly.
