About Me
I was born and raised in Brighton, MA in the Fidelis Way Projects. My father is a song writer and most of the other members of my family had something to do with music too, so I guess you can say music is in my DNA. I spent most of my childhood listening to old school R&B and I quickly acquired a love for solid melodies and playful rhythms. I would describe my style as more playful than arrogant.
To keep things fresh I like to venture into genres that most artists shy away from. I have dabble in rock, house, hip-hop… you name it and I will lay down a rhyme on it. One of the most meaningful things I have learned is that a good artist isn’t one that always looks to make the most “popular” decisions. A good artist uses what he likes and makes it work. I think when you hear my music you will hear something unique, enticing and worthwhile.
I have been fortunate to work with some of the biggest names in the industry such as Dead Prez, AZ, Wale, Buck-Shot Shorty (Duck Down Records), Max B, FreeWay, Raekwon, Devin The Dude, Smif-N-Wesson, Tabi Bonney, Styles P, Currency, Joe Budden. I also had the privilege to open for Akon in Cape Verde in October 2010. I have released my first mixtape “Hello Boston – Welcome to Fidelis – Part I” which received very positive feedback from DJ’s and fans across the east Coast. I am now working on my next mixtape and LP which are expected to drop in Summer 2011.
