DETONATED is a heavy metal band from San Diego, California. DETONATED is an explosive blend of powerful vocals, shredding guitar work, subsonic bass, and hard-hitting drums. The clarity of the vocals set DETONATED apart from most new metal bands. Influences include: Metallica, Sepultura, Fear Factory, and Deftones. The music can be described as “modern metal” with an “old school” vibe. DETONATED is fronted by guitarist/vocalist James Palmer whom composes complex, progressive song structures and plays them with a multi-dimensional guitar tone. Dwight Hoy on bass creates epic and harmonic bass lines to accurately complement the music. Drummer Blake Leigh with his hard-hitting technique helps to give DETONATED their aggressive sound.

DETONATED is currently seeking label/management to help promote the release of their upcoming debut studio album, entitled “Set to Annihilate”, which includes ten songs and over fifty minutes of music. “Set to Annihilate” is produced by Steve Russell (As I Lay Dying, P.O.D.) and co-produced by James Palmer. Russell and Palmer are very passionate about attention to detail and perfection, as they were dedicated to creating a masterwork. Every possible measure went into crafting a masterpiece album that stuns listeners when they are exposed to the metal/thrash assault that is the sound of DETONATED.
