Central Florida’s 22 year old new rising star, Marvin Lawrence, is
spreading his talent through a fresh, exciting new style that many
artists have not yet thought to approach in Hip Hop. His inspirations
have come from the many different styles and genre of music and
people, including Michael Jackson, Journey, and his father, Anthony
Lawrence, which have molded him into the ingenious artist he is today.
Born in Auburndale, Fl. Marvin Lawrence is the youngest son of Anthony
and Ella Lawrence growing up in the company of his siblings, moving
around a lot following his father in his career. Traveling to many
towns and cities has given the advantage to connect with all types and
ages of people, being able to relate to any situation and
circumstance. Having first-hand experience with instruments, such as
the trombone, playing from the ages of nine to eighteen, singing in
chorus performances along with acting experience; this incomparable
old soul will soar to new heights for the new genre he crafts.
After the death of Michael Jackson, Marvin Lawrence knew that his
purpose in life was something bigger. Following the footsteps of his
mentor, Lawrence hopes to touch the lives of people all around the
world. His goal, to have his fans turn to his music on in times when
they have felt troubled, raged, joyful or who just want to throw on a
hit; having them know he knows exactly what his fans are feeling, to
cherish each fan whole heartedly.
