About Me
Ashley Lovechild was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Showing natural athletic abilities, Ashley participated in sports, particularly football, from his days at Pop Warner to collegiate levels and a semi-pro endeavor; winning many awards, MVP’s and distinctions. His college life includes attendance at Nassau Community College and Morrisville University in New York state, earning a degree in Humanities. During college, he dabbled in modeling and acting and landed roles as an extra in Maid in Manhattan, Ed T.V. and Law and Order.
Ashley has been a “secret” singer all his life. He would hurry home before anyone else, so he could practice his singing, without ridicule. He would pen songs while commuting back and forth and store them away until the day his break would come. This was a daunting task as he was known as a local athletic talent and no one knew he even enjoyed singing. His mother remarked on his recent success . . . “I am surprised that he has pursued music. He was always playing sports, football. College gave him the confidence he needed to follow his dream.” And following his dream is just what Ashley is currently doing. One evening, while rehearsing a few of his songs, unbeknownst to him his father was listening. Completely surprised by the melodic sounds coming from the other side of the door, he rushed his son into the studio. Ashley figured he would score a deal with one of the big guns of R&B music like Def Jam, but opted to sign with Rolistic Records, an independent label out of Brooklyn, New York. Weeks later he began recording his debut album . . . THE OTHER SIDE. On this album, Ashley sings about everyday life. He expresses issues that are relatable and come from his real life experiences. Although, he clearly has his own sound, Ashley has an endless list of artists who have influenced his music. Naming a few, R. Kelly, Tyrese, Ginuwine and Usher.
Bedroc Da Rebel
The Feirce Brooklyn Hip Hop artist known as Bedroc Da Rebel has gracefully finessed the Hip Hop game, with his culture yet hardcore lyrical skills. With a sincere passion for Hip Hop, Bedroc Da Rebel has always been highly intrigued by the music. He started his craft at the age of 18 and after years of babbling in the game, he has perfected his craft as a lyracist. His lyrical style of rhyming would be described to some as smooth, and slick with a rough Brooklyn edge. He has been praised in the underground hip hop and he is currently working on bringing a new movement in the hip hop game by raising the bar.
Born in Flatbush Brooklyn, Da Rebel was expose to a lot of different genres of music. He listened to reggae, soca, but he fell in love with hip hop. Bedroc and his family moved to Williamsport, PA when he was 15 years old. He started playing basketball which he was very talented in and excelled thru out his high school career. He dreamed that one day that he would play pro basketball. His senior year in high school he broke his wrist in a game which prevented him from having college scouts come and
critique his talent. He also had his first son which also slowed down the process.
After playing college ball for a short period of time Bedroc Da Rebel noticed that he began to be more interested in his first love hip hop. If there was an important basketball game on, he would find himself watching a hip hop award show or new music videos on MTV and BET. He started writing rhymes and making songes and letting friends and family listen to his music. He always got a great response. It was then he realized that hip hop was what he wanted to do with his life. Not only to be a rapper but to be a hip hop legend. Now signed to HighRollerMusic/Rolistic Records he vows to raise his level to be the absolute best in the game.
