Simonna

Simona Milinyte or simply Simonna was born in 1995 December 12 th in Lithuania. From 3 years old, she was singing in kid’s variety group. From 6 years old, she was acting in kid’s drama theatre. From 10 years, old Simona started her own solo career. She participated in many national and international singing contests and in many of them took wining places. At age of 12, she released her first album named “12”. Her songs are played by Lithuania‘s radio stations, she is acting in famous Lithuania‘s TV shows and have a lot of concerts. Simona also writes poetry and lyrics for her songs. In 2008 she won a contest „Students Poesy and Lyrics“.
Simonna is a dynamic and charismatic singer wishing to expand her expertise and repertoire via performance opportunities. Is a big fan of Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Eminem, Beyonce, Ryan Adams, Akon, Demi Lovato and Jonas Brothers. Simonna is interested not only in music, but also in expressive dance movements. She learns to play with guitar, is interested in a variety of musical styles. In the future, she plans to combine singing, dancing and a live instrumental playing in her performances. Singer has very little free time, so Simonna values all free moments: reading books, going to the cinema with her friends, spend time with her family. Singer sings not only in Lithuanian language, but also in English and Russian languages. Simonna speaks english fluently.
In 2010 Simona Milinyte has successfully completed The New York Film Academy‘s „Four Week Musical Film Workshop“. In 2011 Simonna was invited to attend TwitChange by the team which carefully decides the best celebrities to champion the organization, because they look for celebrities that have a ridiculous passion for a particular charity and cause.

2007 In Kaunas city Song Contest Simonna won the first place with song “Kaunas”. This song later became like a kind of anthem of Kaunas city.
2008 In spectacular contest at Pompeii city (Italy), Simonna was rated as the most artistical performer.
2008 In the International Young Talent Competition “Talent Kaunas – 2008” Simonna won the 2nd place.
2008 In the contest “Baltic Talents” took place in Riga, Simonna was nominated for a diploma.
2008 Simonna released her debut album called "12 ".
2009 In the first republic children and youth vocal competition "Nightingale’s Valley” Simonna won the 2nd place.
2009 In St. Petersburg’s contest "The path to the stars - in 2009” the young singer has been rated as the most perspective singer.
2009 In International Young Talent Competition Talent Kaunas - 2009 Simonna won the 1st place.
2009 In competition "Baltic Transit” Simonna won 3rd place.
2010 In TV Festival ''TV Start” in Turkey Simonna won Grand Prix in the vocal category and won 1st place in model category .
2010 In one of the most famous festival in the world ''San Remo” (Italy)
Simonna became a finalist.
2010 Simonna has successfully completed The New York Film Academy‘s „Four Week Musical Film Workshop“.
2011 Simonna was invited to attend TwitChange (is a movement to bring celebrities and fans together in a loud, fun way on Twitter to bring awareness and financial support to charitable causes that change the world).
