This Damn Universe, the bastard brainchild of Andrew Iovino and Justin Blaser, was born October of 2011. Stylistically explosive and sonically complex, This Damn Universe weaves a tapestry of stuttering bassy beats, old-skool synths, classical music and layer upon layer of vocal effects and harmonies; a two-man electro gargantuan. Though forward thinking, their sound is easily graspable in the here and now. Justin and Andrew remain staunchly D.I.Y., having recently released a 4-song self titled debut album with all writing duties, recording duties and production duties being performed in house by the duo themselves. Currently honing their live set and building their repertoire of original material, This Damn Universe has anchored their otherworldly mother-ship on terra firma and though they come in peace, have no intentions of leaving anytime soon.
