Trendkill are an emerging heavy metal band based in Jimboomba QLD. Formed in 2008, they pull influences from Pantera, Metallica, Slayer, incorporating elements of groove metal and thrash metal.
Trendkill have recently been spending time in Gold Coast studios working on their first worldwide release.

From humble beginnings, Trendkill are a small town band making a big name for themselves state and countrywide. These groove-bruisers from Jimboomba, Queensland have amassed a loyal, wide reaching following in the Heavy Metal community in only a short period of time.
What started as small time jamming between guitarist Benn Wilson and drummer James Collett in 2008, Trendkill has since become a fully-fledged, dedicated project for the two members intent on making their mark in the metal scene.
Influenced by the likes of metal giants Metallica, Pantera, Slayer and Black Sabbath to name a few, these heavy metal purists refuse to be bound by current music trends and do things their way, the right way.
With the coming together of Benn’s pounding, power-groove riffs and soaring guitar acrobatics, as well as James’s relentless drum style and growling vocals, and backed by a second to none production style, Trendkill deliver an uncompromising, balls to the wall product of sophisticated yet unrelenting metal songwriting.
Trendkill have recently been killing time in Gold Coast Studios working on their first worldwide release, set to be completed late November 2010, and plan to embark on a full-scale tour to support the release in early 2011.
