II write songs , sing, and play guitar and harmonica. I've got almost 60 years of life experience which covers politics, religion, gender issues, social justice, and complex relationships. My songs explore all of these areas, trying to combine roots and modernity to produce songs that communicate. All hail, The Band! All Hail, Tom Waits, Jackson Brown, Leonard Cohen(how does he know what I'm thinking?), Nick Cave, Tim and Geoff Buckley, roots music of all types, Richard Thompson, John Martin :( Ever heard of a songwriter from Texas called Paul Rodriguez? Why do brothers always sing so well together?
I have a band called Rangoon(long story) Its a guitar based four piece. Rock, Blues, Country, Folk, and we've survived playing mostly my original songs for 12 years, playing in and around London.

Bio:
I'll keep it simple. Will is an Australian born Londoner. Life is the source, you got to be in it to feel it. London based band Rangoon, played all around, in town, out of town for 12 years. 2002 to 08 also played in Irish trad. band Seanachie Og who played London and Ireland extensively, and made four trips to New York to play St. Pats week, 2004 to 2008.
Waiting for something to happen. I've been saying I was going to peak at 60, for 40 years. That's next year.
Still working with the London Burmese population to establish democratic rule in their homeland.
