About Me:
Hey Everyone! Names Allison, call me Allie if you please. I am a 17 year old Singer/Songwriter from Chicago. Music is simply who I am, and what I love to do. Lets write a song together? =] Likes: bracelets, nail polish, reading, Aerosmith, cotton candy, working out, dancing, baking, yoga, writing, butterflies, sequence ANYTHING, and optimism. Dislikes: improper grammar, action movies, the color you get when you mic green and brown, cloudy nights, thunderstorms, nightmares, and negative people.

Bio:

Saying you love to do something, is much different than saying you live to do something. Allison Wonderlin on the other hand, without a doubt, lives for music. From participating in school choruses and church choirs for over eight years, to participating in school musical productions, and local theater productions, as well as taking piano lessons, and teaching herself guitar,Allison just simply can't escape the music.

Allison currently receives A's in high school, and is also very involved with the student body at Lane Technical High school. From officer of Student Council, to Songwriters club, and lead roles in her high school musicals, at only 17 years old, this young artist still manages to keep up with her aspiring career, family, and social life.

She picked up the guitar in 2006 and began writing in 2007. Her song genre ranges from acoustic, to pop rock. Allison plays venues from fund raisers, to restaurants, but it doesn't stop there. She has won multiple awards three years in a row at an event called Bobbapalooza. This battle of the bands type venue, run by Bob Anderson, has really jump started Allison's career in the performing field. The fans love her mellow sound with her acoustic songs, but also dance and sing along to her more upbeat originals as well.

She has just recently been playing more venues in the club/restaurant scene, but still continues to write and compose original songs almost daily. When she is not practicing, she is writing, and if she is not writing, she is spending time with her family.

Bio2:

Q: What are some activities you are involved in at school and outside of school?

A: Well, I sing in Advanced Chorus, and for the schools Jazz Combo. I also am my senior class Vice President as well as a student council rep. for my division. On top of that I am in television broadcasting as a class, and so we film the weekly TV broadcast for the school....uhm...I sing at church on Sundays, give guitar lessons, and help take care of my brothers since my sister is at college and my mom passed when I was younger.

Q:Wow, so you are involved with so much it seems. How do you keep up with all the activities you are involved in?

A: People always ask me that, and all I do, is look at them...and without even thinking reply, I have NO idea....I just do?

Q: What do you do when you finally finish a song?

A: Since my songs are like journal entries, I write them for me, and since I am sort of a perfectionist...I keep working at them. Some take 2 hours...and I'm like YES THIS IS GREAT, but other times it'll take me up to a week. But, when I think a song is ready to be heard I'll play it at a show, and am usually really eager to see what people have to say, and when I see smiles on peoples faces, and others dancing along or clapping, its life...Man I must be doing something right.

Q: Are people generally supportive of you and your music?

A: Thankfully yes. Especially my family. Which I think is very important, and I am very blessed to have the people that I do have surrounding me. I wouldn't really change a thing.
