Born in Trinidad music has always been a big part of his life. At the age of 11 he picked up songwriting as a hobby after listening to Nas's album, Illmatic. He's also influenced by other artistes such as Method Man, Curren$y, Kid Cudi, rock band Nirvana, Kanye West & B.o.B just to name a few. Darker elements are expressed throughout his music which is what sets him apart from the 'average rapper' of today's musical landscape.
