Direct Influence (AUS)

Direct Influence is an Australian based Soulful Roots/Hip Hop group who have independently released, promoted and nationally/internationally toured their debut album 'War In My Kitchen' throughout 2010/11, distributed through Shock Records. The 6 piece group, fronted by Dylan Smith and Marcus Ross, have performed hundreds of shows throughout Australasia, grown a committed following of thousands and established itself with a reputation of one of the best live music acts in Australia. This reputation has granted them invitations to the likes of Rhythm and Vines Festival NZ (opening for N.E.R.D., Tinie Tempah, Chromeo), Woodford Folk Festival QLD (The Cat Empire, Blue King Brown), The Hills Are Alive Festival, St Kilda Fest, Japan Music Week, to name a few and are on the road to developing their exposure internationally.
