Pulse

Pulse was born in the early spring of 2010 from the solo projects of William Keough. The band released their first EP, the self titled Pulse - EP on March 2, 2010 to iTunes and AmazonMP3. This collection of demos and rough drafts only showed a small piece of the bands talent. After spending more time rehearsing and performing the band entered an online battle of the bands called “Wicked Local Web Jams.” The band won this contest with their demo of ‘Splintered Hearts.’ The prize was recording time and a winner’s gig. So with this recording time the band decided to record a new EP, with some classics and some never-before-heard tunes. They recorded the tracks Cascade, Wake Your Dreams, and Splintered Hearts and put them with a live track and two demos to create the new EP Day Turns to Night. This EP was released physically and digitally on November 16, 2010. It has been a great hit thus far. Promoting it at all of their lives shows, the band has seen substantial interest and acclaim. The band plays live frequently and has been praised for its ability to sound as good or better live than in the studio. Having played in numerous events at venues ranging from Stonehill College to the Palladium, to the Guru Room and Church of Boston, the band is looking to take the next step towards an already bright future.
