About Me
I was born to Carolyn Hodges and Ronnie Pinkney on July 19, 1995 in Long Island, NY. Being an only child I quickly adapted to finding enjoyment in things that I have been exposed to the most, one of those happened to be music. Classic rhythm and blues, modern 90s hip hop, and gospel, are the many elements who made me the young lady that I am today. Relocating to Orangeburg, South Carolina with my single parent mother, I began to sing and write more frequently. At the age of seven, my mother purchased my first album as a gift, "Whats the 411?" by Mary J Blige; I knew from that point on that I wanted to pursue singing. I would perform ballads at school functions and concerts; also, openly around friends and family over the years. I began recording my personal music that I titled "Pawleys Island" with a local producer and jazz recording artist at my current age of 17.
