About Me
My Mother raised my three older brothers and me on her own with the help of welfare and cooking and cleaning for wealthy white people. My Dad never did anything for me, so I was taught how to be a black man by my older brothers. By growing up poor and having a different Dad from my brothers, I felt like I didn’t belong. I didn’t talk much so I wrote my thoughts down a lot. As I got older my thoughts turned into lyrics. My music is heavily influenced by Tupac, Public Enemy, N.W.A., and KRS 1. At the lowest point in my life; when I was locked up, had no job, no money, no place to stay, and no one to really call on, is when I got serious about making music and hoped that it could change my life one day. My music is totally different from everything heard in mainstream hip-hop today. My songs take you back and make you focus on the lyrics and not the beat or a catchy hook. I don’t like where hip- hop music is today and I believe a lot of people feel the same way. So I give them something different to listen to. And maybe even better.
