Yes, it's true. “THE A TEAM” EP which includes the blockbuster UK hit single of the same name arrives at all DSPs on December 6th in the USA. The EP will feature four tracks, previously unreleased in the US. In addition, a special iTunes version of the EP will be available exclusively via the Tunes Store, augmented by the additional track, “Grade 8 (Live At The iTunes Festival London).
“The A Team” proved a sensation upon its June release in Europe, debuting at #3 on the UK Singles Chart. That released was soon followed by Sheeran’s full-length debut, “+,” which entered the charts at #1 with the highest opening sales figures for a debut artist ever. “+” will be released in the U.S. via Elektra Records next year.
The Independent hailed Sheeran as “a more naturalistic Bruno Mars…He’s a bona fide hitmaker with a colossal YouTube following, working in the (...) style of his own generation.”
