Four young guys passionate about pop culture. Movies, games, anime, comics, and of course music, are what breathe the brazilians, Randal César, Michel Victor, Marcel Lourenção, and born in Tokyo but naturalized brazilian Henrique Keita. With so much influence and willingness to spend not only consume but produce intellectual property was created Militia, despite evidence that music should not only be considered a soundtrack, but a conglomeration of ideas beyond their musicianship and make multimedia. Through the official website, http://militia.com.br/ a tale of post-apocalyptic fiction is told, transforming the band members in the protagonists of this fable. The story, besides being used as a backdrop, is used as a theme throughout the band's work, including his live performances, where the members dress characterized by their respective story characters. Based on the new metal, whose main features hip-hop vocals, drums and guitar riffs and industrial metal, with strong electronic beats and synthesized effects, the band has references in various musical styles, beyond cited. What does the band differ from others in its style is strong inspiration from the masters of movie soundtracks and games, as John Williams, Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer, Koji Kondo and David Wise. Putting all together, Militia becomes epic melodies and striking, exciting guitar riffs, rhythms and dynamic battery spare, incisive bass lines and vocals sometimes melodic, sometimes metallic and sometimes spoken, but always with consistency. The variety keeps the contents, where the lyricist Randal Caesar tackles controversial topics such as critical social, cultural, political and religious, while writing motivational letters, both personal and collective instinct. Memorable choruses and many references to nerd culture close the package.
